What is your education and/or training?

Fabiola is a Contemporary Art Conservator currently based in Singapore, where she holds the position Contemporary Art Conservator at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM).
Fabiola’s ongoing research interest focuses on the challenging discussion triggered by complex artworks which present variabilities in their possible manifestations, long-term preservation strategies for Time-Based Media artworks, and more recently performance art.
Fabiola holds a Master Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage from the University of Torino in cooperation with the Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” and has gained extensive experience in the field working in several museum institutions across, Italy, Austria, Poland, and Hong Kong.
