How do you manage the acquisition of artworks that are constantly evolving or that require the replication of parts? And how do you document conceptual, performance-based, interactive, environmental, or sensory-related artworks for an acquisition?
Join us in the INCCA-AP Café: The Conservator’s role in the acquisition process, a tale of evolving protocols? 11th July, 4pm HKT (Hong Kong 4pm/Amsterdam 10am/London 9am/Gweru 10am/Seoul 5pm/Mexico City 2am/ LA 1am)! Register for the Café here and more information about the 4 speakers will follow soon.
In the meantime, thanks to the great turnout from the previous editions, we are thrilled to announce the Call for participation for the 3rd edition of INCCA Café: Student & Early Career Research! Presentations should focus on technical research and analysis, treatment examples, ageing studies and case studies focusing on specific conservation materials, such as adhesives or retouching materials. Presentations can be in any format.
Send your participation request to info@incca.org by 28th July 2024, including your presentation topic/abstract, a short bio (up to 200 words) and 1-2 project images with credits. Read the full post here.
We hope you are enjoying all our events as much as we do!
Best wishes,
INCCA Steering Committee
