INCCA Update, June 8, 2020

Dear INCCA members and colleagues all over the world,

We, the steering committee of INCCA, feel that we cannot send out this newsletter without acknowledging the pain and anger felt throughout our international network at recent events in the US: the horrific ongoing racial violence endured by the African American community that resulted in the killing of George Floyd and many others before him; but also the hope for change brought about by the overwhelming popular uprising. We at INCCA stand against racism and bigotry and believe in a civil and open society in which art and culture can be vessels for dialogue and community building.

INCCA has, at its core, values of listening and sharing knowledge to learn from each other: https://www.incca.org/incca-statement-values

INCCA aspires to be a diverse and inclusive organization and we will continue to work towards this goal.

Kind regards,

INCCA Steering Commttee
