INCCA cordially invites you for the Speed Mentoring session on 10th November 2022, as part of the conference Sustaining Art: People, Practice, Planet in Contemporary Art Conservation. The session is planned during the extended lunch break on the 2nd day of the conference.

Are you attending the conference Sustaining Art: People, Practice, Planet in Contemporary Art Conservation in Dundee, Scotland in person? If so, it is now possible to sign up for the vibrant and informal Speed Mentoring session on 10th November 2022.

*Updated on 31st October: There are limited online slots for this hybrid session! If you are not attending the conference, you can now register for this session as well and meet other conservators of the field.

Inspired by and modelled after speed-dating, this session creates the chance to have short (10 mins) sessions of one-on-one time with recognised professionals in the field, without all the normal distractions associated with conferences.

Your session is an opportunity to ask your mentor anything you want! You can talk about them, about you, about the field in general, or about anything else. You will have a one-on-one conversation, so nobody will interrupt you, and our impressive group of mentors are eager to listen, discuss and advise. At the end of your session, you will leave the mentor and have an opportunity to meet the other mentees.

Nine mentors have kindly agreed to participate in this session.

  • Gaby Wijers
  • Kim Kraczon
  • Dragan Espenscheid
  • Paulien ‘t Hoen
  • Brian Castriota
  • Susanne Kensche
  • Sanneke Stigter
  • Ruth del Fresno-Guillem
  • Flaminia Fortunato

Find more information about the mentors here.

If you are interested in reserving your time with any of the mentors, please send an email the INCCA Coordinator (info@incca.org). You may give a first and a second preference in case your first choice is already booked. The slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each mentor will be able to meet with a maximum of four people.
