This video is the registration of the guest talk Patricia Falcão (TATE) gave on January 25, 2017. The talk was part of the Winter School for Audiovisual Archiving. Patricia Falcão from the TATE in London discussed the specificities of preserving file-based artworks within the context of TATE, and its Contemporary Art Collection. She focussed on the changes to workflows and skills that are currently being implemented to mitigate the risks for the preservation of this type of works.
The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision hosted the second Winter School for Audiovisual Archiving on January 25, 26, and 27 2017. For the workshop, we invited three experts to share their experiences during one-hour guest talks. These talks were available as a live stream and are now available as video registrations.
