What is your education and/or training?

I completed my diploma studies in Conservation and Restoration at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in June 2025, specializing in modern and contemporary art.
As part of my academic training, I spent a semester abroad at the Cologne Institute of Conservation Sciences (CICS), where I focused particularly on plastics.
I gained practical experience through internships and freelance positions at institutions in Austria, Germany, and Belgium, including mumok (Museum of Modern Art, Vienna), the Albertina (Vienna), Hamburger Kunsthalle: Galerie der Gegenwart (Hamburg), and S.M.A.K. (Ghent).
For my diploma thesis, I examined the installation Globos (2003) by Rivane Neuenschwander, developed conservation and restoration strategies while engaging with the conceptual aspects and specific challenges posed by participatory installations.
Currently I'm a Graduate Intern at the Getty Conservation Center in the Collections Department, contributing to the Modern and Contemporary Art Initiative and would be grateful to connect with other Conservators in the Field of Modern and Contemporary Art Conservation.
