What is your education and/or training?

Trained as a conservator of technical heritage an modern materials at the Berlin School of Applied Sciences (HTW Berlin), I am not directly involved in the conservation of contemporary art. During my studies, I was able to gain in-depth knowledge of rubber artefacts and modern paint coatings. Amongst other workshops adressing various materials and techniques I participated in a workshop for cinetic art. As the boundaries between contemporary art and technical heritage are close to each other in terms of restoration, or at least the objects are made of materials from the same era, I am always interested in exchanging ideas and case studies of any type of object.
