A new website of the Smithsonian Institution devoted to issues in the conservation of time-based media art is up: www.si.edu/tbma
The goal of the site is to inform the conservation and curatorial community on development of long-term and comprehensive preservation strategies for time-based art, and to establish a set of best practices for the acquisition, documentation, installation, and display of time-based art.
