The Metals WG of ICOM-CC (with FAIC and the Lunder Conservation Center)
are organizing a conference on:
Aluminum: History, Technology and Conservation
April 7-10, 2014, Smithsonian American Art Museum, McEvoy Auditorium in Washington D.C. from April 7-9. A one-day workshop will be hosted by the Emil Buehler Conservation Laboratory at the National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia on April 10.
This interdisciplinary conference will bring together specialists from the fields of conservation, scientific research, and industry to facilitate an exchange of knowledge and expertise in the deterioration and conservation of aluminum alloys.
