The Università della Svizzera italiana is pleased to announce the activation of TEC-CH Online (Online Programme in Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage). This online programme offers practitioners and young researchers the possibility to keep an update of groundbreaking solutions that established and emerging technologies can offer for communication in the field of cultural heritage. It is a unique opportunity to obtain state-of-the-art information and knowledge, both from academic research and from the expertise of well known practitioners.

A 3 months trial phase – TEC-CH Online Pre-opening Offer – took place in Spring–Summer 2008 and was attended with great success by more than 50 participants from the 5 continents, and more than 15 countries . Evaluation on the learning experience showed a high level of satisfaction with the contents and the delivery.
TEC-CH Online, built after the experience of the trial phase, is organized as a set of independent courses which can be attended separately. Upon completion of a number of courses amounting to 15 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), a participant can request and be awarded a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage from the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Università della Svizzera italiana.
The range of TEC-CH Online courses is carefully thought to match the needs of professionals active in the field of cultural heritage aiming to gain fruitful expertise and know-how.
Each course will be opened to a maximum number of 25 participants, and applications will be examined on a first-come, first-served basis. All details regarding the registration procedure are provided on our website.
