M+ is looking for a new Object Conservator to join the M+ Conservation team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Senior Conservator of Collections, you will be a core conservation team member encompassing various disciplines including painting, paper, photography, time-based media, preventive conservation, and science. As the Objects Conservator you will play a pivotal role in conserving a broad array of contemporary artworks, with a particular emphasis on three-dimensional objects including architectural models and design works, complex installations, and kinetic objects. In your day-to-day work you will be expected to incorporate this collection care into evolving theories in art conservation, ensuring our approach remains at the forefront of the field and respects the integrity of each work.
