-AICCM Paintings Special Interest Group Virtual Forum - AUSTRALIAN MADE
From November 15 – December 3, the AICCM Paintings Special Interest Group is holding the AUSTRALIAN MADE Virtual Forum; a dynamic mix of online presentations, on-demand videos, posters and interviews.
AUSTRALIAN-MADE brings together a collective body of work celebrating the diversity of art-making on the Australian continent, with a focus on the distinctive technical contributions of First Nations and female artists.
It features stories about the research, treatment and care of Australian paintings, and explores broader developments and new technologies related to the cleaning and structural treatment of paintings.
Other topics include insights into Australian oil paint manufacture, photographic documentation techniques and technical tips and tricks.
