LIMA is thrilled to announce the start of a new national research- and training program on digital art preservation in collaboration with 18 museums, collections & networks.
In the upcoming years we will train professionals in preserving digital art. Executing collaborative research, case studies and expert meetings. Developing a knowledge base, to guide professionals in analyzing, documenting, storing and understanding the future presentation and preservation of digital art. And last but not least updating our digital preservation infrastructure.
We are preparing this great project, that will be launched autumn 2021. Currently we are hiring a junior conservator to join the project. The project language is Dutch.
