
Josephine Bobeck is a conservator of sculpture and contemporary art. She has a master’s degree in modern materials from HTW Berlin where she specialised in the conservation of plastics. She graduated with the thesis Nanogels for Plastics & Rubbers - the Cleaning of a Sculpture by Eva Hesse in 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in objects conservation from Gothenburg University. Josephine has trained at Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen and Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart Berlin, where she has also undertaken collaborative research projects; there among a scholarship from Rathgen Forschungslabor on light-based art. She has worked at Moderna Museet and Nationalmuseum in Stockholm as well as for other institutions in private practice.
