Conservator-restorer by the ENCRyM-INAH and Art Historian by the UNAM
Lizeth is a professor specialising in conservation-restoration of modern and contemporary art, as well as graffiti and urban art. She is professor-researcher of the Seminar-Workshop on Restoration of Modern and Contemporary Art at the ENCRyM-INAH, with more than 19 years of experience in the field of teaching and research.
She has directed several conservation and restoration projects focused on her field in Mexico and abroad. She has directed undergraduate and graduate theses in different national and international academic programs. Author of several papers and articles focused on her specialty. She collaborates as a consultant for artists and conservation-restoration of collections in museums and contemporary art galleries.
She has done research, conservation and professional training at the Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid, Spain, at the University of West Attica in Athens, Greece, at the Conservation and Research Center of Cheng Shiu University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain and at the Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico.
She was Academic Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Restoration from 2019-2022. Currently, in addition to her academic work at ENCRyM, she is a professor of the subject Conservation and Preservation of the Specialty in Management of Museum Projects at the Faculty of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
She coordinates the Conservation-Restoration Project of the Tepito Arte Acá Murals.
She is a member of the Steering Committee of INCCA (International Network for the Conservation of Contemporary Art) and of the Editorial Committee of the magazine Intervención Revista Internacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museología, INAH.

Síntesis curricular
Conservadora-restauradora por la ENCRyM-INAH e Historiadora del Arte por la UNAM
Catedrática especializada en conservación-restauración de arte moderno y contemporáneo, así como graffiti y arte urbano. Es profesora-investigadora titular del Seminario Taller de Restauración de Obra Moderna y Contemporánea de la ENCRyM-INAH, cuenta con más de 19 años de experiencia en el campo de la docencia y la investigación.
Ha dirigido diversos proyectos de conservación y restauración enfocado su ramo en México y en el extranjero. Ha dirigido tesis de grado y posgrado de distintos programas académicos nacionales e internacionales. Autora de diversas ponencias y artículos enfocados en su especialidad. Colabora con asesoría para artistas y conservación-restauración de colecciones en museos y galerías de arte contemporáneo.
Ha realizado estancias de investigación, conservación y capacitación de profesionales en el Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofia en Madrid España, en la Universidad de West Attica en Atenas Grecia, en el Centro de Conservación e Investigación de la Universidad de Cheng Shiu en Kaohsiung Taiwán, la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, España y la Universidad Veracruzana, México.
Fue Coordinadora académica de la Licenciatura en Restauración de 2019-2022. Actualmente además de su labor académica en la ENCRyM, es profesora de la asignatura Conservación y Preservación de la Especialidad en Gestión de Proyectos Museales de la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Coordina el Proyecto de Conservación-Restauración de los Murales de Tepito Arte Acá.
Es miembro del Comité Directivo de INCCA (International Network for the Conservation of Contemporary Art) y del Comité Editorial de la Revista Intervención Revista Internacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museología, INAH.
