Thanks to support from Heritage Preservation and the University Of Delaware Department Of Art Conservation, a website dedicated to the history of the Heritage Preservation organization has been established and can be accessed at: https://www.heritagepreservation.info .
Rather than being a static history of the organization, the website will be an ever growing repository for articles, personal essays, oral histories, documents, and images about the organization and its predecessors—the National Conservation Advisory Council (established in 1973) and the National Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Property (established in 1982). We welcome contributions from everyone who had a connection to the organization or benefited from its programs. For more information or to discuss a contribution, please contact Rebecca Rushfield, Coordinator of the Heritage Preservation History Initiative at wittert@juno.com
