Dear INCCA members,
Happy new year!
We’re excited to start 2026 on a high note with a review of INCCA Korea’s recent visit to Taiwan. On January 2, 2026, nine members of the INCCA Korea regional group visited the Taipei Fine Arts Museum where the Taipei Biennial was being held, as well as the Department of Conservation at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in Taiwan. This visit marked the third Asia-focused institutional visit organized by INCCA Korea members, following previous visits to M+ in Hong Kong in 2023 and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa in 2024.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen understanding and exchange on conservation practices in Asia. Read more about it here, with images and details courtesy of INCCA member Nancy Lew.
In other news, the Steering Committee has been working hard to organise a programme of exciting new INCCA Cafés and Talks for 2026. We can’t wait to share this with you so please stay tuned for updates in February, and don’t forget to reach out if you have any ideas of your own for an INCCA Café or Talk. We always want to hear your endeavours as we all work together in the world of contemporary art.
Best wishes,
INCCA Steering Committee
