We would like to inform you about the recruitment of abstracts to the third issue of “ICAR The International Journal of Young Conservators and Restorers of Works of Art”. It was founded at and is supported by the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland.
The international scientific Journal „ICAR” is dedicated to students and recent graduates of conservation and restoration of works of art and related disciplines from universities and conservation schools. „ICAR” is the answer to a desire to publish academic research in professional journals, indicated numerous times by students and emerging conservators and restorers. We hope that it will become a platform for exchange of thoughts, learning and development for emerging scientists – conservators and restorers of works of art.
We invite all students and young graduates to submit abstracts of their papers.
The Call for Papers for the third issue of the Journal is open from 19th of February to 31st of March 2018.
We take greatest care of the quality of published papers. They are carefully selected by the Scientific Committee. Our journal is peer-reviewed. We cooperate with a number of reviewers from Poland and other countries. Positive opinions from reviewers (who are the specialists within their field of profession – conservation and restoration and other connected fields) is the base for qualifying materials for printing. „ICAR” is an international journal, and thus the papers are published in English.
