What is your education and/or training?

I have an honour's degree in curatorship from the University of Cape Town and a master's degree in Tangible Heritage Conservation from the University of Pretoria, both in South Africa. Professionally I have worked on exhibitions at the Iziko Slave Lodge and National Museum, was an archivist for Sanlam Museum & Archives for 18 months and currently volunteering as a conservator at the Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre where we work with a variety of materials including textiles, leather, plastics, paper and metals.
