What is your education and/or training?

Olivia Schoenfeld is enrolled in the Advanced Professional Program for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Her current trainee placement is at LI-MA as a Conservation Intern working on media art conservation projects. She earned her Master of Science from UvA in 2023, specializing in contemporary art conservation. Olivia's Master's thesis focused on a case study risk assessment of a blockchain-based artwork series, 81 Horizons, by visual artist Rafael Rozendaal. Her interests lie heavily in time-based media conservation and digital preservation. She graduated in Spring 2021 from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and minors in Mathematics and Museum Studies.
