What is your education and/or training?

My name is Olivia Schoenfeld and I am currently enrolled in the Advanced Professional Program for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). I earned my Master of Science from UvA in 2023, specializing in contemporary art conservation. My Master's thesis focused on a case study risk assessment of a blockchain-based artwork series, 81 Horizons, by visual artist Rafael Rozendaal. I graduated in Spring 2021 from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and minors in Mathematics and Museum Studies. I have been a pre-program conservation intern at the Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research in Phillips, Maine, the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio, and Johnson Furniture Restoration in Avon, NY.
