What is your education and/or training?

I completed a Master in painting conservation at Palazzo Spinelli in Florence, Italy. I completed internships at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. I worked for over 10 years with Helen Houp in Dallas, who worked as conservator at the Kimbell Art Museum before starting her private practice. In 2022 I opened my studio and I have been studying and researching contemporary art since 2016. I work with artist's studios, such as Rashid Johnson, Howardena Pindell, Ugo Rondinone, Jaume Plensa, David Bates, Kathleen Ryan, and others, and love to have the artist's input and approval on every step of the process. I'm a member of CAN! and currently serving as Chair of AIC Paintings Specialty Group. I'm planning on attending Future Talks 025 in Munich this November. Thank you for your consideration, Cristiana
