What is your education and/or training?
I hold an MA in Art History from UCSC, Milan, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Curating from ZHdK, Zurich, with academic work that bridges art history and visual studies. My research centers on the conservation and presentation of contemporary art, particularly time-based media, which forms the core of my ongoing PhD. My home institution is UniversitĂ Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan (not listed in your database). As part of my doctoral work, I completed a six-month research internship with the archive of Studio Azzurro, a pioneering Italian artist collective in video and media art. During this internship, I investigated selected case studies and contributed to structuring a database of the archive. My research also involves conducting interviews with artists and professionals, mapping the Italian institutional landscape, and gathering insights from international experts. Co-supervised by Prof. Francesca Pola (UniSR), Prof. Tiziana Caianiello (HAWK), and Prof. Annet Dekker (UvA), I am currently a visiting PhD student at UvA in Amsterdam, hosted by the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA).
