What is your education and/or training?

I hold a Master's degree in History of Art and a Certificate in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University where I graduated in 2014. Prior to being appointed as a PhD Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, I held graduate and post-graduate fellowships in Time-Based Media Art Conservation at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, and worked as a contract conservator for time-based media artworks at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. In addition to my specialization in time-based media art conservation, I have a background in the conservation of archaeolgocial materials and have worked as a conservator on excavations in Turkey, Sicily, and Egypt. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Sarah Lawrence College where I concentrated in Studio Art and Art History.
