What is your education and/or training?

My educational background is a 5-year degree in Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Greece, and a 4-year Masters and Post-Masters degree in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the University of Amsterdam, with a specialisation in Contemporary Art. I also had the opportunity to spend a semester in Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, where I was trained among others in the conservation and restoration of modern paintings.

For six years I resided in the United Kingdom, where I worked mainly as a paper and book conservator. I then worked for a year in the Netherlands and a year in Greece as a conservation trainee and researcher. I am currently working as a feelancer contemporary art conservator based in Berlin. My special interests lie in the field of plastics conservation as well as the ethics and theory of conservation.
