Presentation by Caitlin Jones during the CRUMB Seminar: Documenting New Media Art

CRUMB is the acronym for Curatorial Resource for Upstart Media Bliss. CRUMB aims to help those who 'exhibit' new media art, including curators, technicians and artists.

The CRUMB seminar on Documenting New Media Art took place on March 5, 2008 and was funded by the ACE North East Inspiring Internationalists project. It was aimed at contemporary art curators, and built upon work on collecting and archiving to take the issues wider into documenting art including live, performative and new media works. In the first presentation, Caitlin Jones presents a range of examples and resources for current practice (including that of INCCA and the Inside Installations project). See the CRUMB website to read a transcript of Caitlin's presentation.
