INCCA Moves Under the Umbrella of International Institute of Conservation (IIC)

On behalf of the Steering Committee we are sharing an exciting new development.

Since its inception, INCCA has been generously supported by the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE). This provided a home for INCCA; supporting the organisation, our part-time co-ordinators and also the website.  After careful consideration, the RCE, which is a Dutch government body, has concluded that hosting an international network such as INCCA is no longer an activity that can sit under its wing.

Following a positive vote by the IIC Council we are delighted to say that INCCA has moved under the umbrella of the International Institute of Conservation (IIC). IIC will provide a new home for INCCA reflecting our global reach, and promising a future that will support our ambitions and ongoing sustainability.

What will this change mean for INCCA members?

INCCA will continue to have its own identity, and membership of INCCA will remain free, and we do not expect our members to see any significant change. There will be no requirement to join IIC, although we hope that some of you might consider that. Our move to IIC will offer many very positive benefits, including enabling us to raise funds.

A new website and community platform for INCCA

During the month of April INCCA’s URL will switch to our new website and community platform. Please stay tuned as we will shortly be providing you instructions about how to sign up to our new platform.
