Post graduate Mellon Fellowship in the conservation of paintings Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC)
The Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC), an active regional conservation center located in San Diego, CA, is offering a one-year post graduate Mellon Fellowship in the conservation of paintings.
Fellows will work with a wide variety of collection types performing conservation services in examination, treatment, analysis, and on-site surveys.
Applicants should be recent graduates of recognized conservation training programs. The stipend is based upon a salary of $33,000 plus benefits, four weeks of research leave, and a $1,500 travel allowance in support of approved study projects. The fellowship is scheduled to begin in September 2016. Interested applicants should apply in writing with a resume, three letters of recommendation, and three examples of treatment experience.
