The British Library National Sound Archive holds the National Live Story Collection. This archive contains a wonderful collection Artists' Lives (over 250 recordings). Interviews are mainly focused on the artists' biographies, but often with a specific interest in creative processes and working methods. The catalogue contains metadata; copies of recordings can be ordered.

Artists' Lives include, among others: Elisabeth Frink, Lynn Chadwick, Terry Frost, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Eduardo Paolozzi, Michael Rothenstein and Anthony Caro.

The collection Artists' Lives is part of the National Live Story Collection. To search this collection enter the Catalogue and then enter the words: "Artists' Lives" in the Search Screen.
