From 1999 until today conservators Katarina Havermark and Lena Wikström from Moderna Musseet, Stockholm, have carried out a large number of interviews with Swedish and international artists. As the interviews take place in connection with new acquisitions, most of them go deeply into one or two (occasionally three) works of art (so the focus is not on the entire oeuvre of the artists). Sometimes the reason for an interview is a special conservation problem and/or installation question. In recent years conservators, as well as a museum's curator have been involved. The project will be continued (for example, one interview is planned with Swedish artist Jonas Dahlberg).
