Bruce Nauman’s From Hand to Mouth was 3D scanned before and after the 2009 Venice Biennale. Deviation analysis, based on the data acquired from the scans collected before and after travel, demonstrated that there was virtually no change in the sculpture’s form. This project was carried out at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
