In 2012, the SBMK (Foundation for the Conservation for the Conservation of Contemporary Art in the Netherlands) is organising two study-days on 'plastic textiles' . The first of these will be about nylon and will take place on the 8th of May in Rotterdam. This study day is organised in collaboration with RCE (Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands). Dit jaar organiseert de SBMK twee studiedagen over “Textiele kunststoffen”.
Deze dagen gaan over problematiek, casussen en onderzoek aan synthetisch textiel, toegepast in kunstobjecten
Hierbij vind je het voorlopige programma van de eerste dag op 8 mei, die gaat over Nylon.
We starten met het werk van Madeleine Berkhemer in het NAI, Rotterdam, onder leiding van de kunstenaar zelf.
Na de lunch steken we over naar Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen voor het werk van Ernesto Neto en Iris van Herpen.
De dag kost € 95,00 inclusief lunch.
Als jouw museum een jaarlijkse bijdrage levert aan de SBMK, kost de dag € 35,00.
