2004-04 Symposium Ohne Schnur: Communication Art at the Interface between Art, Technology and Society

The symposium Ohne Schnur: 'Communication Art at the Interface between Art, Technology and Society ' was organized by the Institute of Art History of Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU), Munich, Germany, and took place from 3 to 4 April 2004 at Cuxhaven Art Association (sponsored by VolkswagenStiftung).

 

 

Art and media scientists as well as media artists held lectures and discussed the effects of mobile communication on our society, spatial perception and body awareness. Another central theme was communication and media art and its history.

The symposium was organized as part of the exhibition "Ohne Schnur - Art and Wireless Communication", which was held in Cuxhaven Art Association from 03.04 to 02.05.2004.
